Toronto Members, we have an unavoidable scheduling conflict on Thursday, so unfortunately we will have to postpone our tenth pick-up by one week (’till the 27th). Many apologies, I promise we’ll return for the last three pick-ups with all of the fall bounty! That’s right,
No Pick-up in Toronto This Week
Speaking of fall bounty, the very first squash is ready and those of you picking up on the farm should see some this week. Over the next few weeks I will be digging lots of potatoes and maybe even some carrots too!
It looks like we should get some rain this week, so although I haven’t had much time to think about preparing the garden for next season, a few good soakings will hopefully make it possible for me to start turning over some beds for cover crops. Although between harvesting beans and tomatoes and feeding this hungry baby I’m not sure when I will get the plow out!

Knuckle Down Farm is a small-scale organic market garden sitting on a quiet back-channel of the Trent River. We grow over fifty varieties of vegetables, herbs, and flowers with care and individual attention.
Our CSA veggie shares provide fresh, delicious, organic produce all summer while connecting members with the place their food is grown and the farmers who grow it. You can also find us at the Dufferin Grove farmers' market.
Farmer Jenny started Knuckle Down Farm in 2012 and moved to Quinte West in 2014.
