From Zero to Zucchini! — Knuckle Down News Week 2

Bee Diptych 2 - From Zero to Zucchini! — Knuckle Down News Week 2

Right now we are busy trying to get the last of the transplants into the garden as well as trying to keep the first flush of weeds under control. Jamie worked her last day today, so we wanted to get as on top of things as possible before she heads off on her way. Before she finished she painted a lovely sign for us, you can admire it at the next pick-up or maybe at Market! Thanks for all your help Jaimie.

If any of my local members know of someone who might want to pick-up a few hours of work (farming or child minding) please (PLEASE) send them our way.

I also wanted to mention that Knuckle Down Farm has joined the Homegrown Hamper. That means that those of you in the area who weren’t able to commit to a whole season can now still order the occasional thing from us when we have extras. I think the first order date is today, but there are a few more in August. You can also order all sorts of other local goodies, definitely worth checking out.
