With August almost over, I’m scrambling to take advantage of the most recent rain showers and get those seeds in the ground that are able to grow into the fall. Spinach, Salad Mix, and Winter Radishes are on the list, as well as everyone’s favourite: the noble Turnip!
With so many tomatoes to trellis and beans to harvest it is sometimes hard to think ahead to fall. Speaking beans, apologies if you didn’t get any last week, I noticed that they ran out early. If you were one of the people who missed out let me know and I will make sure you get some this week.
The potato plants are also looking big and healthy, I dug a few today to see how they are looking. On-farm members will get those as an extra treat, I will leave the rest another week or so.
