That’s a wrap! (Almost)

another sunset - That's a wrap! (Almost)

Hello Everyone,

The last week of our CSA for this Season has arrived and our members will get a little break from having to decide between putting Swiss Chard or Kale in their baskets!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their veggies as much as I have enjoyed growing them this year. It was a strange start, but in the end we had so many beautiful harvests I feel truly grateful.

I also want to give a big thanks to our helpers and staff this year and an extra special shout out to Sonora, who stuck it out to the end. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback about the on-line farm stand, we are still mulling the idea over and will keep you posted.

In the meantime, our vegetables can always be found listed on the Homegrown Hamper and we will be attending the Christmas Market in the Village on November 12th in Stirling. For anyone following us in Toronto, we have some things listed this week at the Dufferin Market Webstore for pick-up on Thursday.

That is to say, although the CSA season is coming to an end, the farming season is not quite over yet. There is still garlic to plant, beds to clean up, trellises to dismantle, a neglected greenhouse to flip-over to winter crops and a surprising quantity of produce to sell and eat.

Sincerely,
β€” Jenny
