All Good Things, 2022

Farmer Jenny and CSA Shares

Hello Farm Friends,

What a glorious day to start our garlic planting.

A conveniently placed PA Day for the kids and the return of our dynamic garlic duo meant I had more help than usual this morning and when it comes to garlic planting more hands are always appreciated!

Speaking of appreciation, it is the very final 2022 CSA pick-up tomorrow and I would like to send out an extra thank-you to all of my CSA members for just being the best. Not only would this little farm not exist without your support, but your enthusiasm for our vegetables makes our week, every week.

I will be harvesting a few late seeded crops for the first time this week so if you were waiting for celeriac, leeks or radicchio you are in luck!

Thanks too to Sonora for sticking it out right to the end despite having already started her other job!

Although the CSA is ending, the beautiful weather means we may have a few vegetables to offer over the next few weeks. I will try to keep the farm store on the website updated with what is available and of course you can always find us in the Homegrown Hamper.

A quick reminder that orders are due tonight for this week’s Hamper.

This week will also be our last visit to the Dufferin Grove Organic Farmers’ Market for the season. I hope to see my Toronto friends and customers on Thursday, it looks like we will have a beautiful day for the final outdoor market.

Our newsletters will be less frequent during the cooler months, but you can always see what I am up to on Social Media and I will be back in full swing before you know it.

Thanks again to everyone for a great season!

Sincerely,

β€” Jenny
