Hello Farm Friends,
After a very busy Market on Thursday, the family and I went off for our annual end of Summer visit with my parents and sister’s family in Huntsville.
We swam, played crokinole, had a campfire, and ate too much! Squeaking all the things of Summer into one final long weekend.
Having just arrived home I don’t have much news from the field today, but a quick walk through the garden and I can see that there are lots of Beans, Tomatoes, Peppers and Eggplants waiting for me to harvest them ASAP!
Our second planting of Zucchini is flowering and some Fall Spinach has germinated. I also noticed some Radishes looking ready and even a small crop of Broccoli!
I hope you all enjoyed your Long Weekends too.
Tomorrow we will be back to work, getting ready for school schedules and a beautiful Autumn as the Season turns.
