Hello Farm Friends,
What a difference from last week and a beautiful way to wrap up our CSA Season for 2024. Thank you to everyone who has taken part this year, although I will miss seeing you every week, I think we can all agree that we had lots of beautiful veggies this Season. I’m sure I will run into many of you around town or elsewhere, but if not I hope to see you here at the farm next Spring!
The beautiful weather has also given our greens that little burst of growth they needed, so we will have some lovely Salad Mix and Spinach to harvest for our last Share of the Season.
Although some things are wrapping up for the year, other things, like planting next Season’s Garlic have only just begun. On the weekend Sonora came up to help get me started and to get into the garden for old time’s sake. As of this moment, I’m happy to report I am about halfway through what I was planning on planting. If you are hoping to order some for planting yourself, do so soon as several varieties are almost gone.
Our online store will stay open until we run out.
My Dufferin Grove Farmers’ Market customers will also be able to find me for a few weeks yet, so if you are in Toronto you can still get your hands on some Spicy Salad Mix while it lasts!
