Sweet Relief and Sweeter Tomatoes

Hello Farm Friends,

Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement and for your flexibility last week. 

The weather this morning was so chilly it suddenly felt like Fall, what a difference. 

The few rain showers we got last week gave us a short window to get some seeds and seedlings into the ground (hooray!) and gave the garden, and farmers, a bit of relief.

With a little luck, we will have some more rain over the next few days, and with the cooler weather it won’t evaporate before it can sink into the soil.

In the meantime, we will do our best to put together some decent shares with what we do have this week, I’m not sure how the numbers of each item will work out so I won’t publish the harvest list, but I think with lots of choices we can make sure everyone has enough.

Hopefully our market table will begin to expand again soon, till then I will have garlic, tomatoes and basi, a trio that can be combined in so many delicious ways you might not need anything else!
